Antonino Castrone
Universitetsdirektør

The Executive Management continues the work on improving student administration

Input from dialogue meetings will form the basis for the further work to be done in improving the organisation of student administration.

During 2017, Ramboll has assisted the University in analysing the area of student administration in order to assess how we may implement our strategic objective of improving the organisation of the area.
This analysis has included reviewing tasks, processes, systems and the way in which the area is organised with a view to improving the quality of student administration; making the organisation of the area as well as the duties and responsibilities clear and explicit; and making our administration more efficient.

The analysis was concluded just before the summer holiday. Since then, I have had several dialogue meetings with the pro-deans for education, heads of departments, heads of schools and chairs of study boards who have all provided valuable input to the future organisation of the area.

At its most recent meeting, the Executive Management discussed the input and concluded that it is too soon to make a decision on the organisation. Instead of following the recommendations in Ramboll’s report, the Executive Management have decided to continue the work based on the input from the dialogue meetings in order to achieve the best possible organisation of the area.

The Executive Management expects to be able to provide further information on this process in the new year.

Kind regards,
Antonino Castrone,
University Director
